For about $150 you really can’t say anything negative about it. Of course I would expect more for $500 but it’s just a great product for the price. It is certainly not an iPad but I bought this one for a child for this birthday and he loves it. I would use it myself but it’s so close to the functionality of my HTC EVO that has almost as big a screen so it doesn’t make a lot of sense for me. The touch screen is not that responsive but works better when you use the included touch pen (a capacative touch screen would have been better).

I spent a lot of time deciding whether I go with an iPAD or an ASUS transformer. The Samsung Tab seems like a good unit, but for the same price, I would prefer to buy the iPAD. However since the iPAD does not have some of the features that I wanted (SD card, USB, HDMI out, FLASH support), I was thinking of going with an Android tablet. I was really leaning towards the ASUS transformer, but $400 seemed expensive for a unit that had reviews of “bugginess” and “light bleeds”. After much deliberation, I finally decided to go with the Coby Kyros 8024, basically because I know if Apple improves the design of the iPAD 3, I will buy that, so did not want to spend too much money.
